We have an older Osborne Soft with retractable footrests. The right hand foot rest control handle broke, but the rest of the soft is still quite serviceable.

However I have spent considerable time and effort in contacting both Mor and the supplier, who is still in business. First I tried email to both parties and both were ignored. Finally, after going thru one of the most onerous so called automated phone systems I finally got to talk with a human. She was quite pleasant, but the bottom line is they don't keep parts for older sofas and offered no alternatives.

I assume they want me to throw the sofa away and purchase another one from them. I will sit on a box first.
